Olympic aquatic center, Aubervilliers
The watersports complex is developed under a sloping plane that gives the project a strong signature identity. This oblique roof surrounding the exterior pools creates a gentle transition with the perimeter. The wall on the entrance side, covered in a pattern of twinkling drops, gives a noticeable urban character to the new square. The interior and exterior pools are level with the garden and below the level of the hall and the parvis. Users circulate majestically from the hall to the centre of the seating and then to the public reception area. Dedicated entrances for the media and for VIP and groups make for smooth circulation.
