Shopping centre, Meaux

The project takes the form of a huge public square lined with buildings on three sides, which marks a new major entrance to the city of Meaux. The shopping center is organized in a series of terraces that hug the natural lay of the land as closely as possible and make the most of its slope. The architecture seems to slide under the existing field, forming folds that generate a new relief. The roof extends into an awning that protects users and ensures continuity. Extending under the awning on the open area in front of the center is a colorful grouping of boutiques that introduce diversity on a familiar scale.
